As that quote say “I have so much to do and so little time.” It seems to be the way of the world. Is it that we really have so little time or is it that we just don’t have our priorities set right? Is it that we select things that are really not important and neglect what truly is? Then again how do we decide what is important and what is not? Do we make the decision or do we allow society to make it for us?

That quote seemed to have dominated my life in the past. I have had to rearrange my life to fit in everything that should be there. I now find that I must take things out that I once considered so important but realize at the end of the day it really is not. The things in your life that you consider important do change and you have to be careful that they don’t end up really being someone else’s interests and not your own. What I mean by that is guard your self and you situation carefully. Don’t let others determine what should be important for you. Don’t let anyone determine how you start or end your day. I know it’s easier said than done but it can and must be done because it is important in the grand scheme of things. As I have said before in another blog and I will say again I don’t reach for my phone first thing in the morning to check social media or emails. That’s not important to me. My mornings start slowly and remain mine and my family’s until I get to work then it’s shared. Yes I said shared as I can’t allow work to totally take over my life. If it takes over my day it will take over my life. There has to be balance or things go off the rails.

You are the one that has to determine that balance and no one else. Your idea of the perfect balance for life might not be mine or anyone else’s but it’s something to strive towards. How else do you keep the three legs of the stool on the ground and not be off balanced. There must be a balance with the physical health, the mental health and the spiritual health. Maybe you don’t think the way I do but how do you keep sane? Let me know. Do you try to compartmentalize everything so as to not have them bleed into each other? Do you allow them to fuse and balance themselves? How do you try to keep that balance or do you just let chaos reign and hope things will sort themselves? So things really sort themselves or do we have to make the effort to have some control?

Let me know as I really want to know what you are thinking, and I know others do too. Try commenting 👍🏽, but if you are not comfortable, reach out to me via any medium. Your comments let me know how you feel and very often give me a total different perspective on the topic. 😉. And you can never tell your comment might help others.
