It’s said it takes between sixty and ninety days to create a habit. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad. What I have noticed is that bad habits are easier to develop and maintain. Strange isn’t it? What do you think?

It took me a while to acquire and maintain the habit of exercising. When you naturally thin and don’t like exercising it’s hard but necessary. Exercising is what the body needs, it helps the body and the mind.

Drinking on the other hand is easy to pick up and perfect but not the easiest thing to drop, especially when it’s in excess. I could go on about the types of habits and how well we do or don’t do where they are concerned, but it’s best to see how we can develop and maintain good and great habits.

Creating habits preferably the good ones is a constant task and is done one step at a time. Are we strong enough to do these changes or do we throw up our hands in the air and shout that we can’t do this? I have been there that is why I ask 🤣🤣. Tell me what you think, has this ever happened to you. Frustrating isn’t it?

How do you make or keep your habits going?

When I started this blog I realized I would have to make it a habit or it would be very haphazard and so I went with every Wednesday at 8pm. Not sure why. But I figured it was the middle of the week so it could work. It has worked and it really did take a little while before I got into that rhythm. Now that I have it I intend on keeping it. This has shown me that it is possible to start new habits and keep them. It takes work but as long as you are not afraid of hard work the possibilities are endless.

Let me know how you have created habits and how you have replaced not so good ones with others.

See you next Wednesday at 8:00 pm.
