So do these two actually go together? I work hard for what I want, but do I still need to dream big? Will doing one or both guarantee success? When I saw this quote I thought of the book, “Think and grow rich”. I think it is a very popular book for a number of reasons. Some persons realize that they have to visualize the big picture in order to go get the dream, while others just think that dreaming alone will guarantee success. Still with me?

Many persons that have “success” will tell you that’s the book that started the process for them. They saw what they wanted and held on to that vision for dear life. Without it they wouldn’t have known where they were going. You have to see the mountain top to know that’s where you are going. Others however have the vision but only dream about it and will never achieve anything because they have the dream but no drive. A dream without any drive and hard work is just that a dream.

Now there are others who have the drive and no idea where they are going. They just take off and only God can tell what they are after, cause they don’t know. They work really hard, not usually very smart and can’t understand why nothing is going well for them. If there is no firm destination, then how do you know where you are heading? Just getting up and going makes no sense, but that my way of thinking 🤔.

So overall there has to be a balance. If you don’t dream big and go after that dream by working really hard then nothing happens for you. It has nothing to do with luck, but everything to do with the amount and kind of work you put in to achieve that vision. In some case talent might help with the dream and the work. I might be wrong but I really want to know what you are thinking, and I know others do too. Try commenting 👍🏽, but if you are not comfortable, reach out to me via any medium.
