My daughter asked me this question one day and I had to look on her and let her know that I wasn’t sure. She such a little old woman, what 10 year old ask questions like that? And you know as parents we should know a lot. But that one stumped me 🤔. I had been thinking about this for a while and still haven’t figured it out. Started doing some research but I realize that this topic is a matter of opinion. There is no right or wrong answer.
Is your talent linked to your purpose? How do you know when you have achieved your purpose? Do you have to achieve your purpose or can you just skate through life? Is a purpose necessary or is it only for some persons? What happens if you don’t achieve your purpose? Does it mean that you are considered a failure? But how can you be considered a failure if you don’t even know what you should be doing? How is it that some persons figure out their purpose in life so early and others die without finding out? Did they even look?🤔.
So many questions and it would take me quite a while to try and analyze and come up with my version of the answer. Don’t think I will be a Sage as this thinking thing is quite much 🤣🤣. This is why they would go off into the backs of beyond to ponder these great questions. Sometimes not finding the answer.
This is definitely a topic I need help with. Let me know what you are thinking so that I can let Alexis know that my community gave this answer and maybe it will help her in her future and with her quest for answers. 😉

Tell my little cuz. That am a million years older than her. And am still wondering what my purpose. Hell if I know. I have raise my four. Children and by the grace of god they are successful. Now they have their own family was that my purpose. Are that’s just a fraction it. Now what next. I use my talents to help people. God gave it to me so I figure out why not use it for good. So I did. And am still doing. What next. I don’t know. I have to just keep going and try to live a Christ like life. Love everyone tans everything the best I can. So my little cuz we are in the same boat. Good question. First of all we must always give thanks for life. I think each person have a different purpose. Purpose is not given or thrust upon us. We should live a life of fulfillment. Follow our hearts and our dreams. Love thy neighbors and serve and God will lead us to our purpose on earth.

Our purpose is to live according to the will and word of God. But before we do that we should consult the life manual – the Bible. Read it with understanding, and our purpose becomes clearee. Along the way we should help others and utilize our God-given talents to give our lives meaning and purpose.

I would say my purpose was found through my relationship with God. When I had the aha moment with God he showed me how everything in my life lined up to this purpose. What I notice however is that there is an overarching purpose for me and then there are mini activities that the Lord has me do to fulfill that. So right now for me it’s to help people. Very broad right! but God takes me to specific things to make it granular
