The good old days, it’s always brings nostalgia. Well the idea of it anyway. Were the good old days really that great? 🤔. What exactly would we consider the good old days? All generations will mention the good old days. Imagine this time will be the good old days for my children. Interesting.

We hanker for those days when things don’t go the way we want it or even when listening to music. My brother has serious issues with rap music today as he calls it mumble music. He wants to go back to rap music from back in the day. He has become our father 😁, that’s how he thought about our music. As things change they remain the same. https://www.aaatkinsonperry.com/the-circle/

As I asked before were the good old days really that good or is it what we want them to look like. Do we rewrite history to have it look as great as we want it to be. It’s interesting that persons will say back in my days things were great because …. When you read history it was nothing like that but our minds make it what we want it to be and look.

Just know things can’t go backwards they must go forward. So no matter what you think and how great you might think it was “back in the day” it might not have been. 🤔. I look at the technology then and now and I wonder which one is better. I think I will go with what we have now. I do miss the battery life of the Nokia 3310. Imagine a iPhone with the battery life of that phone 😆, perfect. I know different technologies but wouldn’t it be great.

I think we look back fondly on those days especially when it’s our childhood. Life was good then for many persons. No worries, job or major responsibilities, sigh. Life was really easier. That’s one of the reasons why it seemed so good back then. What many of us wouldn’t do to go back to those days.

My children will see these times as the good old days warts and all, even Covid-19. Imagine that it will be part of what they had in there childhood. For them everything won’t be all bad. Life didn’t stop fully, the earth continues spinning and life will go back to as close to what can be considered “normal.”
