Recently, I tried to explain to someone that I write my blogs with reflection in mind. That’s why I don’t make them very long. After reading, it should have you reflect on that topic and yourself. That’s what I do when I write them. The blogs are meant to be savored, not read in haste and forgotten. We should be still for a while.
Sometimes, in the rush to publish or perform, we get caught up in making things long, complex, or overly polished, thinking that impact comes from quantity or grandeur. But for me, it’s about what lingers. What makes you pause. What nudges you to ask yourself: What does this mean for me? Where am I in this? Where do I want to be? Where do I want to go? Am I in the right place? If not, how do I get out and move to the right place? What is the right place?
Reflection is a form of self-leadership. It allows us to slow down in a fast world and listen inwardly. Not everything needs to be a declaration; some things just need space to be considered. That’s the spirit behind these writings. They are not just written to get likes but to stop us in the daily rush at least once a week and smell the roses.
So, the next time you read a post here, I invite you: don’t rush to agree, disagree, or analyze. Just sit with it. Let it do its quiet work in the background of your day.
What is your current reflection?

I’d be thrilled if you could share something, anything, and let others know. 🙏🏽 Your comments help me understand your perspective and often present a completely different view on the topic. They could even inspire another blog. 😉 And you never know how your comment might benefit others.
