We have to make choices daily, what to eat, what to wear. Some choices are simple, some can make or break your life. Sometimes you don’t even think about what we decide to do, as it becomes automatic. Is it that they become automatic or is it that they are safe decisions? I wonder.🤔. What do you think?

I was talking to someone about the visit to her daughter. She was so excited but when she got to her daughter she received a call that her mom had just died. I assumed she had left to take care of the funeral etc, but she said “no my daughter was having her first child.” She had to stay. What a choice to make. What would you have done? I look at it as life vs death and it just seemed more logical to be there for the birth. It’s new life. You know this was not the first time I had heard about one generation going at about the same time another generation gets here. Interesting. Do you have any stories about this?

In my case my mom died five months after my daughter was born. Apparently my great-grand mom died just before I was born. With that at the back of my mind, I remember when my dad got sick a little after my son was born I was terrified that he would die. Sounds superstitious but….. I remember praying for him to be fine and promised God if (s)he made him live I would visit regularly and make sure my kids were a part of his life. I had to keep that promise because God left him with us and that for me was a fantastic choice. He was there for another couple years. I was so grateful. One day however (s)he took him. (S)he made a choice. It was time to go.
